The National Day of People's Republic of China is celebrated every year on October 1st. It is a public holiday in China. The PRC was founded on October 1, 1949 with a ceremony at Tiananmen Square. In Tower of TianAnMen the first leader of People of Central Government Chairman Mao annouced to whole world that People's Republic of China is founded and Chinese people stand up truely in the world .

We are no longer "Sick man of East Asia".

When the anniversary is a multiple of 10s (e.g. the 50th, 60th, 70th, etc), large scale of official celebrations will be held, including parade of troops on Tiananmen Square, which shows the musle and power of China to the world. October 1st,2021 is the 72th years China foundation anniversary, so we will not have parade of troops.

Normally the National Day marks the start of a golden weeks for fun in the PRC.People go travelling, buying things, eating out and etc. The National Day is celebrated throughout mainland China including part of Taiwan Province(although it is not united until now), Macau and Hongkong Special Administrative Region with a variety of organized festivitiesincluding fireworks, concerts, parade and etc. Some public places, such as Tiananmen Square in Beijing, are decorated in a festive theme. Portraits of revered leaders, such as Sun Yat-Sen, are publicly displayed.

However, under darkness shadow of Covid-19(SARS-CoV-2 virus) especially the Delta variety, all over the world except serval countries like China, NewZea Land, Australia remain healthy and stable. So people reduce the frequency of going travelling. Indeed there are huge effect on economy activity. Hope new medicine will be invented soon to cure all people who are suffering decease of Covid-19. All Chinese will wish the world peaceful and safe here.
