Is the lock with face recognition good?

Many smart lock suppliers are promoting their smart apartment lock by boasting their features day and day. For example, the smart residential/office lock with face recognition is quite hit recently.

those suppliers say the lock’s camera can recognize the people’s face in very few seconds, the lock can store hundreds of or thousands of users’ photos, and emphasize such lock consumes just small energy so the batteries life can last for long time.

But, in fact......

Security of smart card lock

The hotel owners with Vingard’s Vision and Classic RFID hotel door locks may be vulnerable to security breaches. Some security researchers have developed a ‘master key’ that can inconspicuously open the door of any room locked with an old Vingard Vision hotel lock system. In the meanwhile, they have developed a process of determining a hotel’s master key code using an expired hotel key card and an RFID key card reading and writing tool. This process will take just a minute and then hackers can open any door as they wish. The cause of issue is that their key card encryption algorithm is too week. JKtech realized this serious issue. Our RFID key card lock, RFID key cards and key card encoder adopt high security encryption locking algorithm to protect themselves. Therefore, it is very difficult for the hacker to break through our system. Finally we can assure our customer use our system safely for a long period. Actually our lock is much reliable than Vingcard's lock though our Chinese brand is not famous.
